OS 10.12.4 Powerpoint Issues (Greek Font)

This is not just an issue reported by one person. These are links to other forums with this same exact problem. This is occurring for me with multiple presentations in PowerPoint. This issue only occurs on a Mac. The issue is temporarily resolved when changing the font from Arial to another font. Other forums suggest the issue is in the Mac Font folder suggesting it is a Mac issue and not a Microsoft issue: Mac HD>System>Library>Fonts

Please fix this.

If this problem only occurs with Powerpoint 2011 I doubt Apple would ever look at the issue. But for them to see your request, use

Yes. I have read a lot about it.

I found a helpful thread this morning and found that I had two versions of Ariel in my Font Book. One was disabled. I reactivated the disabled version and it solved my problem.

That is NOT a known problem

There will be no patch from Apple because you are the ONLY person to report this issue here.

please, how did you reactivate the disabled version? It does not work on my Mac

I was unable to switch to a different font, but changing the weight to bold fixed it for me. Hope that helps.
