Well, my memory was full, according to menu item on clean my mac. I now have removed nearly everything to an external drive, including itunes library etc, and nothing left on my mac!
Yes, as I said, "shows 71GBs free out of 120 total...." means you have lots of free space. No reason to worry.
I was just told to get rid of ccleaner, now it's gone. This is telling me to use it again.

It is the most likely cause of your problems. The report printed shows that CMM is lying to you.
Please run Etrecheck test, then repost the results. People are attempting to help you here, but you don't seem to want their help.
I did. But someone here sent me a link to how to uninstall completely and it was to the same ccleaner.
Please do as Stedman1 suggests and run another EtreCheck report again after you reboot.
