Albums in Photos not showing up on iPhone

iTunes syncs photos not organization - to sync the albums (rather than just the photos in the albums) you have to use iCloud Photo Library which does sync regular albums and folders

The iPhone is problematic. I revrted to iCloud Photo Library on the iPhone.

Since I can not use iCloud for photos because of my data limit (travel full time no land line), I won’t upgrade to 10.3.2 until Apple fixes the issue. Thanks again for the heads up. Mike

I see that the iOS is now 10.3.3 and iTunes is 12.6.2.20 Has the problem gone away with these updates?

I ventured to update my wife’s iPAD to iOS 10.3.3 and iTunes on my iMAC to 12.6.2.20 and then synced my wife’s iPAD and Albums were there, so it looks like Apple has resolved the issue, Yeah

I will let you know what I experience when I sync my iPhone and iPAD again.

All my albums are at the top level, not indented inside an all encompassing folder/album. That may be your issue.

I did my research. At the time it was new and I asked a lot of questions at the Apple Store before I made the switch. Apple employees didn't know about the problems.
