ios 10.3.1 wifi & gps problems

After I did 10.3.1 update my iphone 6 has problems with the wifi and the gps signal. my wifi signal is very weak, imagine that in my house if I am 10 meters away from the router I lost the signal! when I use googsle maps or maps the apps can't find the exact location so as a result I cannot get the correct instructions! I restored my iphone several times from itunes directly, as a new phone, zero result, same problem. I also tries to reset network settings, zero result! Is this ios 10.3.1 bug?? anyone can help me?

Hello, I have the same issue in my Iphone 6... after upgraded to 10.3.1 my GPS is never accurate (GPS is never found when using waze) and my Wi-Fi connection is terrible (just works when I am in the same room in front of the router.

Kind of frustrating that there isn't any fix or workaround.....

As soon as I downloaded the new update 10.3.3 gps stopped working completely and the cellular signal became awful, went to Apple Store after i tried every possible way to fix it by resetting the phone to factory settings with no luck. Then they said it's a hardware issue but we don't know what it is!!! Basically forcing you to buy a new phone but the worst part was the fact that they were very rude and frustrated with me.

The rep at the Apple Store was nice but suggested maybe if I dropped my phone this caused the problem and maybe I need to buy a new phone, then the tech on the phone was positive my problem would be fixed after he had all settings reset, I asked him to call me the next day so I could report if the problem was fixed and he never called me back. I submitted feedback to Apple about this and never heard from Apple...now a week later! Now my IPad has the exact same problem. I'm really upset! Apple needs to fix this problem!

Reporting in. I just changed both parts, the GPS/Wifi antenna and the F antenna connector. GPS and Wifi signal are now rock solid. Waze finally works and my GPS coordinate apps gives me a 5m accuracy when I use dto have 65 / 100m . I hope it lasts. Not a hard replacement but a ton of screws of different length makes it tedious (1h repair ... disassemble + reassemble).

I have an iPhone 5c and have done all updates. It's impossible that Apple/Cisco iOS released an update that causes only 6 customers to order chinese made add-on antenna to the phone. Apple would notify people of the issue (have a page) and also fix it. Absurd even: I really doubt an antenna can ever fail unless broken during repair, I doubt anything chinese made will fit (would allow phone to be assembled fully), and also: add says your required to buy cheap chiinese suggested tool sets for working on iphone 6.

I'm going to say this is a TROLL thread because it indicates with uncertainty people buy a product which certainly IS NOT NEEDED for the problem continually mentioned in thread: upgrading. perhaps in strange dropped phone situations - but then one would CERTAINLY HAVE TO VERIFY OEM (original equipment manufacturer replacement). infact the item given as url says the item being sold is USED and not verified by apple either. absolute TROLL.

Well, you can call it the way you want but the fact is that after 10.3.2 I lost gps and wifi strength, coincidence, maybe. The fact is that first I opened and cleaned all the antenas in alcohol, and reassembled, it worked 5 minutes. Then I purchased those cheap parts and put them in, i do not care if new or not, it just works, which is what I wanted.

Yooo this is real... I have an I phone 6 and my gps went out like 2 days ago no for reason...first I was running 10.3.1 and it started tripping..so I upgraded and it still kept trippin...

I've tried everything... all possible reset procedures and nothing... for the most part that is...

.my issue seems to behave a bit differently from everyone else an but in the end my gps cuts out...wifi is fine

First I rest the phone and made a new iCloud and turned on waze it did nothing... then I reset the phone ....put my iCloud back up on it and it was fixed... but for only about 30 minutes...

Then I reset it again with just my iCloud info no back up and it worked longer for about 5 hours...

This made me think it was Snapchat or some app over loading my gps or something...

But yet again it went out....

I can fix it with a reset but it's sporadic and always bugs out again... I don't know if software is gradually overloading or making hardware wig out..

But going to get a new phone tomorrow and see what happens...

Been 3 month now... my issue started in 10.3.2. slow and no wifi.... GPS not working... GPS showing WRONG CURRENT LOCATION... can't use Uber to get rides because it shows my CURRENT LOCATION is half a mile away from my ACTUAL LOCATION.... tried all the steps from different news articles to fix the GPS issue, and none of them worked.

Last month 10.3.3 came out, I thought it would fix the GPS issue. Nope. GPS is still not working. I've been relying on my 10 year old tomtom gps to get me around instead of my iphone 6. I even tried factory resetting the phone but the problem with GPS is still there.

The hardware fix you provided seems to have fixed my wife's iPhone 6. She's pretty rough on phones and it has been dropped, allott so I think that is why it was a hardware issue on her phone. There was also a loose screw floating around inside from one of the connector cover plates and I know her phone has never been opened since it was purchased new.

I have an iPhone 6 and I have not been able to use my gps. It'll pretend it has a location and then a second later it will put me somewhere totally different. Also, no matter what application I use, it won't be able to totally pin point my location. It has a "general" location. The wifi is also terrible. I have to be right on top of the router to pull about 40mb, even though I pay for 50mb. If I am in the next room I pull about 4 (and that is being generous) gb. It is eating up my data and I can't keep paying for their mistake. I was ready to drop Verizon, thinking it was their fault but it seems to be the apple software. I have always been a diehard apple fan but this may be the clincher in me moving to another brand. Also, in the past month, Verizon has sent me 3 replacement phones, thinking it was a hardware issue, I also got 3 new SIM cards and the most recent phone, I got it in the mail, took it to the Verizon store, opened it there, got a new SIM card, and created a brand new Apple ID to go with the new phone and SIM card and the same issue was happening. I then thought it was the network but Verizon checked EVERYTHING connected and relating to my phone and there were no issues. I then saw all these other people having the same issues as me with the new apple update. It stands to reason that it is the iOS 10.3.3 that is the issue. Honestly, I am getting so frustrated I am not sure what to even do anymore.
