Is there really no way to leave a group text other than just clicking "do not disturb"?
If its true my next phone just might be anything but an apple phone, sick of people i do not know or people i do not like adding me to group texts that i cant leave.
iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 10.3.2
I’m having the same issue. I’m starting to hate group messages. By me and my sister and law was in a group chat composed of Androids and iPhone and she was able to leave the group. We both have iPhone but I do not have the option to leave but she didn’t.
I also have no "Leave this message" option. The bubbles are only blue or green when I write something and I don't want to be in the group so I haven't written anything. That said, I know the original sender doesn't have an iPhone.

To leave a conversation, tap Details, then tap Leave this Conversation. You can only leave group iMessages that have at least three other people.

There is no leave button and its more that 3 people
I don't see that option either. Very annoying. I am abo9ut ready to switch to Android.

Gee, being able to leave a group text regardless of everyone being on iMessage. seems like a bona fide FEATURE to me.

Don’t have that option on my iPhone 8 Plus iOS 11.2
i’m not sure this is true because someone in the group message left the group.. they have an iphone. idont know how he did it but he did ... it shows that “..... left the group conversation at 10pm”
I have IOS 11.2.1. I don’t have the option to leave a group chat someone put me in. Please help. I click the details button and my only options are “hide alerts” and to share my location.

Can you provide more info? Is it a iMessage or SMS/MMS group?
You can only leave group iMessages that have at least three other people. iMessages are the blue bubbles.
You cannot leave SMS/MMS group messages, which are the green bubbles.

Just because something is effective doesn't mean it's the right thing to do.
It is a group with both iOS and android.
