Take a look at this. Email problem – The SMTP server “smtp.me.com” rejected the password on 10.6.8 system
Edit: Maybe resetting your Apple ID password would do the trick.
Thanks for your suggestion. I tried changing the password there but still is being rejected. So still locked out
I have more than one account, it is just the me.com that is a problem, and I can't send mail from the others but seem to receive them ok. The me.com account works fine from my iphone
