How to reset forgotten Notes password on iPhone

The trick I used , doesn’t work on latest version of iOS 11

I have this same problem, and the problem with all the answers is they still don’t provide a way to get into your locked note.

that really *****!!!! if we reset the password, the old notes should be reset too. like it's our notes, Why would you do that if we forgot !!!!

For some reason this is not working on one of my iPhone notes after I upgraded phones. It won't except my new password after reset. And it won't take my finger print. I've just deleted it.
