I received an email (Billing Fraud) Recent Purchase Confirmation asking me to log into my apple account to provide info for something I did not order. It said that click on the link LOGIN and cancel the transaction ... Pls advise

I have rec an email dated 21.7.17 [Billing Fraud} from apple store indicating I have made a purchase which I did not order. The email request to verify account info by clicking the login link.

Does it mean I have been charged? Before that I have already been warned that someone has tried to access my account and I have changed my password. Yet I still receive Billing Fraud .

Could someone tell me what is going on?

Have you checked the email to see if it's a genuine email and not a phishing email ? If you don't know how to do that read previous replies.

so I would like my $39.98 back in full or I going to my bank on Monday and filing a FRUALDULENT ACTIVITY ON MY ACCOUNT!!

If it is a genuine email you already know (or would if you had read replies on this thread) that we are just fellow users and that nobody on here can potentially refund you.

My email looked very official. It even had apple.com in the link, but it was not the real reporting link as just a few letters were changed in the address. I logged into the official site and the purchase does not show up. They were certainly wanting to get my Apple ID. They said my brother purchased a song using my credit card. My brother said he never made the purchase, and it is not in my real list of purchases etc.
