Wifi drops when phone is locked after 10.3.3 update

It's not hardware issue for sure. After 11.0.3 update I'm facing exact same issue with iPhone7. Wifi disconnects every time phone is locked or idle.

If all else fails, set the email app to check email every 15mins. This will FORCE iOS to connect to WiFi for a few mins.

If anyone else wants to post it to them...please go ahead...I'm off to sell an Apple Airport Extreme I didn't need to buy...sigh...

People who are having a problem should absolutely submit feedback. I'm just not one of them.

FWIW, my SSID has always been a simple 9-letter all-CAPS SSID. And I have the problem on both my iPhone 6 and my iPad Air. Again, just FWIW.

Again, just FWIW, every one of the over 1 billion iPhones that have been sold in the past ten+ years disconnects from Wi-Fi when the phone locks, unless it is connected to power.

What's the point of your "Again, just FWIW..." comment? It doesn't add anything new or helpful to the discussion.

I was just echoing your tone and style, in pointing out that your phone is working the way Apple designed it to work.
