I am trying to check my bank account, and Safari keeps opening the mobile site of my bank.
I looked almost everywhere and I can't find how to request the full desktop site in Safari on MacOS Sierra.

As I told John, my laptop is clean of adware. The only plugin that I have in Safari is adBlock.
Since you have Chrome and Firefox installed, do they load the page correctly?
Try enabling the Developer menu in Safari Preferences.
Then, set the User Agent to something other than default, then set it back again.
Sorry if you already answered this, but did you try clearing your History and Web Data?
