How does one approve a device from another device. I keep getting messages to approve my devices from another device even though they are already signed in to iCloud.

I’m having same trouble wonder if it’s my recent Apple Pay activation with last upgrade or new upgrade 11.2.2
I am having the same issue. It is so frustrating Apple. With everything these phones can do it would be nice if this worked.
I tried this and it did not work. If this is an actual solution, then please provide more detailed steps to make it work.

Just purchased a new iPad and having the same issue. Can't finish setting up until approved. Nowhere to approve. Getting very frustrated

Finally gave up on two factor after hours of "Approve iPhone" waiting, waiting, etc. None of the "fixes" have worked for me.
