Hi

You will need to contact Apple Support for assistance.

Contact information is available here:

(I'm afraid that no-one here can access your account or reset the questions for you. You are not talking to Apple here - this is a user-based technical support community).

I have the same problem and unfortunately your instructions do not help if you get the "We don’t have sufficient information to reset your security questions" message.

According to Apple support there is no way what so ever to get access to such an Apple ID. Even if I know the ID, the password, the phone number, the mail address. I even have the iPhone logged in to this ID and could receive messages to the phone number or mail associated with the ID.

I just don't know the answers to the security questions. Trying to reset them leads to the "We don’t have sufficient information to reset your security questions" error. Trying to log on to the ID leads to "please answer your security questions". Complete dead lock.

I'm experiencing the same issue. Following your instructions or trying to get hold of any kind of apple support just goes around in circles providing the same "We don't have sufficient information..." or pointing to the community.

UK based, they don't provide a phone number in the support link in your original reply either.

Go to the page linked in my previous reply.

Under United Kingdom, click on "Get support now" > Disabled Apple ID > Reset Apple ID password > then click on "No Thanks. Continue"

This should present you - in the UK - with options including Talk to Apple Support Now (provide your phone number for a call back from Apple) and online Chat with Apple Support, both currently with only short wait times of 5 mins or less.

Same issue. Its my original ID. All purchases for around 20 years attached to it. All other family members use this ID for purchase in a family share. I can not recall it ever asking for my security questions until recently. After 2 long calls with Apple support they say there is no solution except to try and guess. You get around 10 guesses and then you have to wait around 8 hours to go guessing again. My security questions are quite intuitive for me, but they are not working. There is no way to see if this is an error on my end (Spelling mistake on set up) or their end. Apple has no way to merge or transfer purchase history. No way to reset any other way for these older accounts. I have thousands of dollars of purchases which I will not be able to recover. My login and password work fine, but I can't log into my account unless on my phone or ipad. The fact we can log in and use the account, but cant reset our own security questions or transfer our purchases to another ID is a bad joke.
