Yes, it would be enough for any of the thousands of hackers who already know your id and password that they got from the 4 billion Yahoo addresses that were stolen, or the hundreds of millions of other accounts stolen from the 50 or so websites that have been hacked in the past year. It's because your ID and password can be bought on the Internet for a few cents that Apple (and most other reputable sites) require security questions or 2 factor authentication.

I have been confronted with a serious problem about not being able to buy applications from app store after charging my apple ID to 25 dollars. Exact problem is that when I try to buy an application security question is asked and unfortunately I have forgotten the security question. Me 2 facing the same problem. when i contact with apple support they will ask the same security question?

we are forget security question answer? we call customer support they ask the same security question. worst customer support.

we know the user name and password. apple have corupted idea of doing this useless security questions.

I have the same issue. Called the Apple help desk and they told me that I need to remember the answers to the security questions to reset the security questions. Hmm, does Donald Trump run this organization?

I have my username and pass code but when I want to complete security questions, the system does NOT recognize the right answers. When I go to the step further, the system tells me that it has insufficient data to change my questions. Any suggestions?
