Forgot the answer to my Apple ID security questions

My i pad is now a coaster. I can't find the orginal Apple ID i set it up with.Apparently I have to find purchase recipt

from years ago to prove it's my I pad mini. I bought 2 mini's at Christmas time and the one I felt was sitting in a dresser for 5 years. I tried to get it going to give to my Grandson. Apple store no help, Apple support no help. I'm giving up Thanks for all the suggestions

I tried phoning Apple Support. They said that they could not access my account nor could anyone else! It was impossible for anyone to reset my security question but me. They suggested starting a new account which I thought as most unhelpful.

I don’t understand why I cannot reset a measley two security questions, apple is supposedly a big business and have completed a huge number of complex projects and problems, this is taking up a lot of unwanted time, there are important things I need to do on this phone that involves being signed in this is redundant!

Follow the same instructions in my previous reply (posted two years ago), which is shown at the top of this thread as "Apple Recommended" - and which explains that "You are not talking to Apple here".

I whey I can't reset my security question because I format my ipad and she told me put the icloud email and the password I put it but she told me that

i just dont remmber my security questions last time i used them on my old iphone 6 in 2016 and now i dont remmber them and i got a note that say We do not have sufficient information to reset your security questions how to fix this ?

Assistance is horrible and not able to satisfy one simple re-set security questions request. How is this possible?? Today i am not able to re-set my security questions and this is not normal at all. It is supposed to be an easy and seamless operation.

i wanted to open my icloud account but i forgot the security questions answer.

how can i reset my security questions and access my account?

I had received a message from Apples some time ago that they were locking my account because someone was trying to get into it. so I waited, then unlocked it. I can't remember the answer to some of my security answers such as: What was the name of my childhood friend. I tried the first and the last with no use. Then another question was where my husband and I went on our first date? I tried the answer also but I can't remember if I used caps or apostrophe or not. So now what do I do to reset my security questions? It says they do not have enough information. Are there other questions I could answer?

Under Thailand there is a telephone number that is not valid in Thailand.

Second option is a loop where i need the answer to the security questions to reset them.

And Apple don't provide any online chat support or email.
