How can I transfer songs from my iPod Classic to my iPhone 7? I have hundreds of songs that came from CD's or downloaded elsewhere and I can't figure out how to transfer them off of the iPod device and onto my iPhone. I hope to exclusively just use my iPhone for music but its hard when only 300 of the 1000 songs transferred over. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great, thanks!

You'll need to extract them from the iPod first, and then import them into an iTunes library you can sync with the iPhone.
You can set the iPod to Disk Mode to extract the music as if it were a usb drive.
Then import it into iTunes:
iTunes for Mac: Import music and video already on your computer
iTunes for Windows: Import music and video already on your computer
And then sync it to the iPhone,
Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer using USB - Apple Support
Or if you are subscribed to Apple Music or iTunes Match you can use iCloud Music Library to upload it to iCloud, and download it to the iPhone as if it had been purchased from iTunes.
