Loose USB c port on MacBook Pro 2017

I'm having the same issue on my MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, 2017), but it only has one port. Glad/not glad to know it's not just me. Back to the Genius Bar...

Same problem here the usb c port, i have noticed its getting loose.

Is it still the same now ?

So if I take is for a repair, will they replace it with something better ? I hope apple would have found some solution since many people have reported this.

No they don't, it's going to happen again. The design is clearly flawed because the port in the power brick never gets loose.

That's a very unhelpful comment. You already said that and anyway many of us have already done all of that with no resolution.

Are you sure that the USB ports on the new MacBook pro 2017 are individually replaceable ? As per my chat with a technician, the whole logic board needs replacement!

I can. This is what happened to my last one: retina "stain damage".

Before that it was replaced for a faulty video card.

i encourage everybody to report this issue to apple..

Don’t waste your time and be prepared to ship it off to TX right then and there. Insist on it.
