I did connect a 30 inch apple cinema display to my windows 10 dell laptop ! i have them both working now but how do i obtain full resolution on the apple cinema display? I have 60 Hz ratio in my laptop and 1920 X 1080 is my maximum resolution of the windows laptop. Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
What type of connection are you using to the laptop? The 30" needs DUAL LINK DVI for full resolution. There are adapters to that from DisplayPort or Mini DisplayPort, but not from HDMI or VGA.

HDMI 1.4a can (just barely) handle the resolution, but it's not clear if the graphics chip can, and there is still no dual-link adapter.
