Upgrade to Sierra, can't open .dmg

I tried that but it did not bring up the "allow anyway" window, so I still cant open a .dmg file. Any other suggestions? I'm running MacOS High Sierra 10.13. Thanks.

Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy

Under the General Tab do you see Allow anyway?

What is the .dmg? Is it from an authorized developer?

What if you control - click on it?

A window saying "allow anyway" does not appear for me. In fact, after a while, a window pops up saying the dmg can't even be found even though it's clearly in my Downloads folder.

Are you selecting the file in your downloads folder to open?

I'm having the same issue. Trying to install a driver from ASIX and nothing happens when I open the dmg file.

I'm having the same problem & did not get this option when using Control & Open.

I'm afraid it hasn't worked for me. Webex.dmg is not launching, even when I control-click to open.

I have the same problem and none of the solutions offered so far have helped. Is this a problem that needs to be addressed at the WebEx end?

Sometimes that doesn't even work. I've found restarting helps - but this latest mac upgrade has sucked for sure.
