cannot update or download free apps because of billing information

Hey! I have the same problem. Except I used a visa gift card, and I finished all the money. And now I can't download apps because of billing information. Which I don't have PayPal, I don't have a credit card. And it won't let me make a apple gift card. Any idea how to fix this?

B) it doesn't work, like many other people reading this post, I tried updating my billing information because occasionally there is something I would like to buy. It doesn't work.

C) When trying to respond for this I had to retype in my password. That was after having to update my password and 6 attempts to reset my password and then logging in with my password.

D)It is therefore obvious to me that computer hackers and criminals have a better chance of updating my billing information (and then using it) than I do.

E)The reason I signed in was because my Iphone won't let me sign in using my fingerprint (which would bypass the troubles above.

F) Stop with the wishful rubbish answers. Give real ones. Just because you want it to be the answer doesn't mean it is. The darn thing doesn't work right and yes I have tried turning it off and turning it on again and tried updating to the latest and most memory consuming latest version.

If an app is free, why do we need any method of payment? Free means free. I don’t like having my personal banking information on the internet. Did you know that people are hacking and stealing information off the internet???

Why won’t my phone let me download free apps it just keeps telling me billing information but I just wanna remove my billing information i tried everything it doesn’t give me the option for none please help

I’m trying to reload my messenger account because it stopped working but they keep telling me that my billing information is being declined which for one there is money on my card and for two I thought the messenger app for FB was free! I’ve even tried going around it by shutting off my password required in iTunes and App Store but it still asks for my stupid password and then once again tells me my billing information is declined

I can not update my billing information I have the card in my hand and it still won’t let me update it keeps saying I need to update it or try a new one and it just keeps sending me in multiple circles.

Idk what y’all have going on but I don’t like it if the app is free and I know it’s free then why do I need card info I don’t get it I understand that it’s app but dang if it’s free it’s free I fell like apple is scamming me and all of the other users we pay all that money the least you could do is make sure the apps that are free or free games like come on now

I don't have a debit/credit card and i only want to download free items. I once used my brother's card but now i can't. What should i do? I need to download some items.

If your brother's card is saved in your Apple account, you'll need his information before you can do anything. Otherwise, you won't be able to download free apps.

It just sends me in circles.
