cannot update or download free apps because of billing information

It’s telling me to use another card cause it’s not letting take money which I already try to cancel that order n they told me I have to pay it for them to cancel but what they not understanding I’m not working now so I can’t do that that’s why I Been try to cancel that

All my billing information is correct and all filled out there is nothing wrong and it just did this randomly I can’t update any apps or download anything. It keeps saying there is something wrong and to try again later. It’s been two days I NEED APPS.

so obviously your suggestion has NOT worked at all considering how many people have come back with the same issue. Myself being one of them. I have been told repeatedly that the system will not accept my details and to try again later, even though I do. I highly suggest you fix this issue since this would be the second time I’ve come back about it. Either that or I consider moving to android? Or other rising phone companies? And would say others are thinking the same. So long story short. Organise your business or fall like the rest.

I’m trying to download a free app and have been able to until recently.

I have supplied all my billing information except for my credit card, which should not be necessary for downloading a free app. Please help.

I’m have the same difficulties right now, I have only 83¢ on my card and I removed my card from it and now my App Store won’t let me download any items and even when it asks me for my Apple ID password to view billing and I click down it keeps asking for it over and over again

a new update just came out on my fave app and every time I try to update it it sais “NBA LIVE mobile basketball cannot be updated because it was refunded or purchased with a different Apple ID”. Plz help

I am also unable to download free apps because the password verification I have the button turned off so it should not be required for a password but it is still asking me to do so and it keeps going back to billing and then back to requiring a password in the back to billing I can’t download any free apps whatsoever

I took my boyfriends green dot card off my account there’s no card on my account whatsoever now and I cannot download a free app because it’s asking me for password verification and then he goes to billing I have no billing as it goes back to password verification and your answer did not help me at all a lot of people seem to have problems with this recently we need a more updated answer

Regarding downloading free apps.

The last time the credit card was used for an app that was not free it probably had not posted to the C.C. Account. Until all app accounts are settled, you will not be able to download any apps free or not. Hope this helps.

This incorrect for me. I had subscriptions a year ago and have cancelled them. And they were hacking apps unbeknownst to me. However now I can’t download a free app They want billing info and I am afraid to put in new billing info. Thoughts

One of my students is trying to download the apps google hangout and google meet. Her apple ID account is inactive and this is not allowing her to download the free app. She tried to create a new Apple Id but again it asked for account information. They do not have the finances to open an account. I am at at a loss as to how I can get her the apps she needs for her iPad in order to participate in her online classes in the morning. Due to COVID-19, our school is using google hangout and meet for classes. I was told that the GSuite is free to all students but unfortunately, it seems to be free only to those who have an apple Apple ID account.

I canceled all of my subscriptions due to having no income. Also, does not allow me to download any apps in the App Store because of “billing information” this usually only happens when I can’t pay the bill but I have canceled them all and still cannot use the App Store. Very dissatisfied. 

I cannot download any apps it says my account has been disabled in the Apple and iTunes store I have tried that a new credit card and I have no subscriptions at all I have made sure they are all off I still cannot use any of my apps because they all need updates and I can’t use the Apple store nor can I download any can someone please help me and tell me what to do or why this is doing this I have a new Apple Pay iPad I got it this year it’s a 10.5 inch

I am facing this issue and to bail out from this situation,

system ask me review your billing information before downloading apps on the App Store. even though I am filling the card details it is denying the process

I have this same issue, my credit card is not expired and its saying I need an update and I got a weird text yesterday saying iphone would be returned due to declined payment...??? Have I been hacked?
