USB AC wall Adapter Interchangeable?

Are the USB AC wall Adapter model 1357(10w) and 1358(5w) interchangeable for charging with my iPAD Mini 2 and iPhone SE? I have used the model 1358 (5W) for both with no problems wondering if same applies for the model 1357 (10w)?

You can use higher power charger. The way the electricity works is that at fixed voltage (which is the same for all the USB chargers - except for some cheap Chinese knockoffs) the charger will not pump more current that the device wants to accept.

You don't recall the China Airlines incident where the female was electrocuted with a cheap charger? That is when Apple reduced the price on their charger encouraging people to buy them. Just because there is a standard doesn't mean that all chargers are built well. The only chargers I refer to as knockoffs are the ones where they are built to look like Apple chargers, including an Apple logo. Like 90% of the ones sold on Amazon. But there are several sites that have tear downs of these chargers and the difference is highly significant. I stick to Apple or ones the are labeled MFi or ones from companies that I trust. There are also cheap chargers out there that don't try to be a knockoff but they are erratic in their output and can cause damage to devices. It doesn't take much of a search to discover any of this and the results from a bad charger can be quite serious.
