iOS 11 Can't Send photos through Photo App to iMesaage

Has anyone had issues with sharing photos from the photo app in iOS 11. I used to be able to select in the photos app multiple photos and use the box with the arrow up (send to) and I would be prompted with the messages app. Now it's gone and I have Mail and a munch of other message apps but the apple one is gone.

Has Apple removed this feature. Also noticed the Share to or send to feature for imessage has disappeared for other items as well and shows up for others.

Again any help would be appreciated.

P.S. Yes I looked to ensure the option was not turned off. It's not in the list at all.

I found this on Gadget Hacks and it worked for me. I had downloaded an app that allowed me to see emails from my work on personal phone - so it put a profile that remotely managed my phone and caused the "message icon" to not show when i hit the share button from the apple photos app. I removed the profile (i have a separate company phone anyway for emails) and the "message icon" came back immediately. Some iPhone users who updated to iOS 11 can no longer see the "Message" icon in the share sheet when in apps such as Photos, which means they can only text or iMessage an image from within the Messages app itself now. This is a bug with remote management software which will hopefully get fixed soon, but until then, the solution isn't pretty.

Why isn't it pretty? Because you have to delete the remote management profile off of your iPhone in order to do it. That means deleting apps such as MobileIron and VMware AirWatch along with any profiles visible in "General" from the Settings app.

I have Airwatch from Walmart also. I have the same issue!! Very irritating..

Did reboot. Problem is with iPad. Both air 2 and pro versions. Wirking with senior advisor on issue. Have them baffled.

Ios is so dumb that it can't even attach multiple contacts in a single message.

Apple stop inventing stupid unless features and focus on basic features first.

This has nothing to do with the MDM provider that corporations are using, and everything to do with Apple. Apple's solution is to "unmanage the device", which defeats the ENTIRE purpose of having mobile device management solutions.

This really needs fixed, and Apple should be held accountable for passing the buck. I hear this problem doesn't exist on Android....

P.S. you can send pictures just fine from within the messages app... just click the camera icon and browse for the photo. Why it doesn't work from both ends is absurd.

Same issue here, MDM device with Microsoft Intune. Missing iMessage icon in contacts, photos, and many other places.

This appears to be a bug in iOS 11 and should be resolved in iOS 11.1 beta 2.
