iOS 11 touch screen issues 6S

After installing iOS onto my iPhone 6S I go to input my passcode and the touch screen does not work. I've hard reset my 6S more than 15 times. One of those times I got the touch screen to work. I was able to unlock the phone in. I had to reboot for some reason and the issue is back. I did not have this issue with my phone AT ALL before iOS 11 today. Except with the beta. Now I am stuck hard resetting my iphone. Does anyone have a solution for this issue?? Anyone know to downgrade back to iOS 10.3.3?

Update: Just got it to work after 10 more hard resets. I log in. After a while the screen goes back to passcode and the touch screen stops working again...WHATS GOING ON? I can unlock the phone using touch but that's about it. I'm getting tired of these software issues...

I am having the same problem iPhone 6s 64GB. Was working fine under 10.3.3. After update to iOS 11, the touch screen is non-responsive. Have updated from itunes 3 times, and many hard resets, and nothing works.

I think it will be solved with an update. Actually, iOS11 is not incompatible per se with aftermarket screens. Mine has worked a couple of times, and when it does, it does flawlessly for as long as you keep using your phone. Once you lock it, the problem resumes. In my opinion, this is related to the "technical problems" Apple has referred to to justify the lack of 3D touch in iOS11. Once 3D touch is back, I believe the problem will be solved. Apple knows about this as people have contacted them. I went to an Apple store this weekend here in Germany and told them about it; they were not really surprised to hear.

Please thumbs this up for others to see; I have found the solution if you are worst case scenario stuck like me (touchscreen not working, stuck in the lock screen).

First, download iOS 10.3 for iPhone 6s from the internet.

(Apple is still allowing this since iOS 11 just came out, any new iterations of iOS 11 and this option probably won't be possible)

Second, put your phone in recovery mode by holding the home and power button until the iTunes logo shows up.

Third, iTunes will ask you to either Update, Restore, or Cancel. Press Cancel.

Fourth, while holding the control button, click on Restore. A popup menu will appear. From there, select the iOS 10.3 version you downloaded from the internet.

This will revert your iPhone back to iOS 10.3 where your touchscreen should work as normal before you downloaded iOS 11.

Well I have the same issue with the iPhone 6s 64gb. Only thing I found that works if you will unlock your phone several times and do it really quickly. I takes about 4 times and the screen starts to respond. I have contacted the support only thing they had to say is that they know about this and already received these kind of issues from others. Only thing you can do is to downgrade to 10.3.3 and wait till they fix it. :s

I have the same problem with an iPhone 7 Plus (UK). When it does eventually respond to a touch, there are no haptics availabl. The phone appears to be able to receive a call but I can neither answer it with a swipe nor does it ring. I also have no access to make out going calls or to connect to my voicemail.

Apple have spent around 8 hours on the phone over the last 6 days trying to resolve this issue, including retrieving crash logs via my iMac. Every conceivable combination of reinstall from a factory reset and rebuild from iTunes and iCloud backups as well as a fresh reinstall of iOS11.0.1 have been attempted and I've also tried the other suggestions mentioned here.

I have to give the customer support person every praise for her patience but despite all their best efforts so far, I still have an almost totally unresponsive device.

Out of curiosity, do any of your devices take almost 5 minutes to boot up and during the reinstalls, does the phone get extremely hot, as in almost untouchable? For reference, a full reinstall from iTunes after a full factory reset took 3 hours. I'm wondering whether the initial upgrade (which took forever and also significantly heated up the phone) has managed to do some electronic damage?

It's little consolation but at least I'm not alone here...

I'm just off the phone with Apple Care. They told me they will not replaced the phone because of a software issue. She also said the new update fixed the touch screen issue. I asked her to please email me the change log where it specifically states this issue has been addressed in iOS update 11.1. She changed the subject and did not answer my question.

I want a phone that works!!! Apple killed my touchscreen with their 11.0 iOS update. I can not turn it off or restart it. If I do I do the touch screen will no longer work.

I'm ****** off!!!!

Did this with my daughter's phone after update to 11.0.1 - and on 2nd time of restoring we decided not to set a passcode. This worked, however this was only until she had to power the phone off at school. Then the touchscreen didn't respond after she turned the phone back on. Now downgraded the phone back to 10.3.3 and no issues.

I do not understand something. The problem with the screen has not been solved, but today I read in the news that Apple stopped signing the firmware 10.3.3. And how now to be the one who was updated on iOS 11 and who does not have the screen working? How to be personally to me if my iPhone with 10.3.3 is accidentally updated to iOS 11? Apple, how are you feeling there? What the **** is going on here?

Apple has stopped signing 10.3.3 and i just updated to 11.0.2 now my phone is nothing but an overpriced brick that can do nothing as there is now no way to downgrade to 10.3.3

Apple please at least let us downgrade so that we can use our phones.

PLEASE

ALSO there is no place in my state or city that can replace the original genuine lcd display.

No Apple Service Centre.

I am so F***** up by ios 11.0.2

BTW if anyone has a signed backup of 10.3.3, will we be able to restore from that? if so is there anyone who can share???? Desperate
