iOS 11 touch screen issues 6S

After installing iOS onto my iPhone 6S I go to input my passcode and the touch screen does not work. I've hard reset my 6S more than 15 times. One of those times I got the touch screen to work. I was able to unlock the phone in. I had to reboot for some reason and the issue is back. I did not have this issue with my phone AT ALL before iOS 11 today. Except with the beta. Now I am stuck hard resetting my iphone. Does anyone have a solution for this issue?? Anyone know to downgrade back to iOS 10.3.3?

Update: Just got it to work after 10 more hard resets. I log in. After a while the screen goes back to passcode and the touch screen stops working again...WHATS GOING ON? I can unlock the phone using touch but that's about it. I'm getting tired of these software issues...

I am having the same problem iPhone 6s 64GB. Was working fine under 10.3.3. After update to iOS 11, the touch screen is non-responsive. Have updated from itunes 3 times, and many hard resets, and nothing works.

That will not work. After installing, your phone connects with Apple, which will not authorize the downgrade. You are stuck with iOS11. Either you wait until the next update and hope for the best, or replace the screen with a compatible one from Apple or from somewhere else (there are some aftermarket screens that are compatible as long as the IC controller is original, but make sure it has been tested beforehand).

Are you sure? If the battery is worst than 11.0.1 and 2, it means that you were able to run those as well and we know that those cause the touchscreen issue. Are you sure you are talking about the same problem? The problem we are discussing here is that after installing iOS11 (including 11.1 beta 1, 11.0.1 and 11.0.2) the touch screen does not work at all. You cannot unlock your phone or do anything. Is this the problem you are referring to? Just to confirm.

I guess it is because most beta testers have original screens and most Apple fans will not replace their screens with aftermarket ones. I would have never thought of installing the screen I have if I had had an Apple store close to me. But it is rather far away, it broke in the middle of the week and I did not want to wait until the weekend without my phone. I went to an official reseller, naively thinking they would use original parts and it was not cheaper than Apple itself. Once and no more. I will always go to Apple. I prefer to pay a little more (that is why I use Apple in the first place) and have an original replacement.

In my case, I break the screen, buy it for $60 and change it myself in 10 minutes. The alternative is to replace the authorized service for $200 and I do not have the exact certainty that this will be the original screen, since in Russia Apple officially prefers to change the devices entirely, without bothering to replace anything (for big money, about $400 for 6s)

Apple is trying a minor PR blitz in this by saying the issue is exclusive to out of house repaired screens. Apple would never think about taking resoonsibility for the issue, although they should. I've always had 3rd parties fix my screens have never had an issue until this update...hmmm...

Hi William, I have the same problem. My 6s has never seen the service center, its 14 months old and has not been dropped (no physical damage). Had an OTA download - chose upgrade later and in front of my eyes the screen stopped responding. Don't tell us its a hardware issue. When apple does not have an answer to their software glitches it says ""hardware issue"". Do you think all of us are fools?
