iOS 11 touch screen issues 6S

Apple has stopped signing 10.3.3 and i just updated to 11.0.2 now my phone is nothing but an overpriced brick that can do nothing as there is now no way to downgrade to 10.3.3

Apple please at least let us downgrade so that we can use our phones.

PLEASE

ALSO there is no place in my state or city that can replace the original genuine lcd display.

No Apple Service Centre.

I am so F***** up by ios 11.0.2

BTW if anyone has a signed backup of 10.3.3, will we be able to restore from that? if so is there anyone who can share???? Desperate

My wife’s phone having then same issues that how I Foundr this thread. Doesn’t Apple give a ****? Not so sure, 3 new iPhones been released after s6 think they’d giving everyone a push to upgrade. Love my s6 no need for the new phones. They control their market, it’s brilliant

Are you sure? If the battery is worst than 11.0.1 and 2, it means that you were able to run those as well and we know that those cause the touchscreen issue. Are you sure you are talking about the same problem? The problem we are discussing here is that after installing iOS11 (including 11.1 beta 1, 11.0.1 and 11.0.2) the touch screen does not work at all. You cannot unlock your phone or do anything. Is this the problem you are referring to? Just to confirm.

Well, gentlemen, it seems time to disperse. My 6s work fine on 11.0.3, there are no problems with the display. The only question to Apple - why it was impossible to solve this problem at the beta stage?

Hi William, I have the same problem. My 6s has never seen the service center, its 14 months old and has not been dropped (no physical damage). Had an OTA download - chose upgrade later and in front of my eyes the screen stopped responding. Don't tell us its a hardware issue. When apple does not have an answer to their software glitches it says ""hardware issue"". Do you think all of us are fools?

Hi @jono91702, thanks for the update, have u downgraded to 10.3.3? is it working after the downgrade? I have tried the same after apple support suggested me and provided me with a link, however, its not working!

I am having the exact same issue and have tried everything to fix the problem but no solution. My iPhone 6s has never been replaced with a third party screen or has ever been repaired since It's mint condition. So disappointed in Apple for making us feel like a bunch of chumps with the latest firmware update. It didn't even fix the problems.

Congratulations. Really hope this time your fix is permanent and you don't face any problems like this with your phone.

I am not so lucky. After 11.1 update also, my screen is unresponsive! Planning to take the phone to the service center again. Lets see.

Exactly the same issue for me and my iPhone SE. And other devices (an iPad mini that I’m using right now, in despair, to try and find answers here) is also very slow and laggy. It’s definitely not just an iPhone 6 problem! Let’s hope Apple are reading this...

However, I'm already running iOS 11.2.1, and have not found that any of the iOS 11 variants are much better than the others (I recall thinking that 11.0.3 was marginally better, but because the problems occur inconsistently, and I can occasionally have some days without occurrence, this may have been a wrong impression).

I will try turning off the lock screen, but this is a basic security feature and I would be quite unhappy if I had to live with the phone that way... and the problem is not a "lockscreen" issue... it occurs randomly (often in the middle of me doing something, using an app, or whenever)!

I'm at my wits end!

Wow... you are obviously more brave than me! I would be very uncertain about opening my phone and checking / unplugging the connections! I think it is unlikely these are an issue for me as (when the phone is working) everything is all very normal!

While I'm a mechanical engineer, I'm not a "technical" phone user. I prefer not to risk my investment doing something that might invalidate warranty, etc. Even doing things like entering DFU mode are a more than I'm very comfortable with, and I would only do that if an update had crashed (or something similar).
