iOS 11 ringer volume
How do you adjust the ringer volume on the iPhone in the new iOS 11? The buttons on the side just adjust the volume not the ringer anymore.

With the new update, IOS 11 turned off the "Change with Buttons" setting to off in Settings > Sounds. Just go into Settings > Sound and turn the "Change with Buttons" switch on

All of that is working in settings but not on the pjone
I went into settings/sounds & haptics/ringer and alerts and switched ON for Change w Buttons. But the buttons still only controlled volume. In other words, the change didn't work.
THEN, I turned phone off and back on. Now the buttons work to control the ringer.
You adjust with the buttons on the side while the phone is ringing. I seem to recall that it was that way with IOS-10 and probably iOS-9.
