Apple Music social features missing in iOS 11?

So official word from Apple Support's twitter account is that Apple Music's social features on iOS 11 are not allowed on child iCloud accounts (ie, less than 13 years of age).

Have this same issue after updating my 10 year old son's iPad mini to iOS 11 this evening. No social features under his profile in Apple Music. I made sure that under Restrictions in Settings that Profile and Connect features (or whatever it's called) were enabled. I wonder if there is an age restriction for the social stuff in Apple Music?

I can not run Apple music. I have new iOS 11, and oPhone &S Plus. It all worked before. The apps go in, and immediately quit. Deleted, installed, and does not work.

Unfortunately I already had that toggled on in my son's iPad restrictions but the problem still exists.

same here. i tried to restart, logoff and logon on apple music, but nothing seems to work. I still can see profiles on apple music through iTunes, but nothing on iOS 11 in my iPhone 7 plus. the only thing i can do by tapping on the photo is changing my name and nickname.
