iOS 11 lanscape keyboard!!!

Remember that you can add third party keyboards. There are a wide variety of them. Some of them have arrows. I'd check them out.

That's right, I forgot about the other options for bold, cut, etc. on the Plus versions.

This is not a new feature we had the landscape keyboard before iOS 11

we are talking about keyboard landscape mode without additional buttons 🙂

Amongst third party keyboards, GBoard does the job in iOS11, with the arrows maintained in landscape mode.

Just tested it, and will now stick to it...

Download Gboard app. Width will be back to normal and all keys restored.

My keyboard goes edge to edge but the other posters are posting images showing a shrunken keyboard. Any explanation?

From your post, I gathered that you had an iPhone 7. I think the people who are seeing the "shrunken" keyboard have the Plus. I know I do. Or some of us have a random bug....

Nope. I have the regular sized 6S and I have a shrunken keyboard in landscape mode. Constantly hitting the return, microphone, and emoji keys unintentionally while texting. Can’t stand it.

Have you tried GBoard? Lots of people are saying it gives you back all the missing features.

Yes, mine is a “7.”

Mine goes edge-to-edge (see pictures above). I have a 7 with 11.01.

I don't use facebook, so my previous picture is related to a SMS message.

I've tried with whatsapp, mail and notes....and it's the same.

Interesting that I have a full sized landscape keyboard and I never use landscape mode!
