iPhone brightness keeps changing

Thank you! Just bought an iPhone 8 today and I could not for the life of me figure out where that was. Don’t understand why they would move it to there. Odd.

Thanks, I did not realise there's a SECOND brightness setting, IN ADDITION to the one in display/settings.
I will see how this goes, but it looks like it should do the trick.

I have the iPhone 7 Plus up to date w updates and i keep having to turn in my night shift mode on ... the “ manually enable until tomorrow” keeps turning on...

So my iPhone changes brightness on its own. And my auto brightness is already off??? Help??

Thank you for this info. I finally updated to iOS 11 and have been frustrated by this. Why does Apple bury changes and then give a “fix” that doesn’t work?
