iPhone brightness keeps changing

This is in reply to the person that answered your question. I am in settings, display and brightness, and I no longer have the option for Auto Brightness. Was this removed in iOS 11?

It hasn't been removed, just moved. Settings > General > Accessibilities > Display Accommodations > Auto-Brightness.

I have auto brightness turned off and yet my brightness continues to change by itself. And what a daft move of location for the auto brightness switch!

Thank you so much, that was driving me nuts. Why would Apple move it? Makes no sense.

Have mine set on auto brightness and it STILL changes on its own.

you have to turn off the auto brightness setting to off that way it won't change

Mine keeps changing too and I’ve disabled the auto adjust. Seems like a bug.

Thank you! Just bought an iPhone 8 today and I could not for the life of me figure out where that was. Don’t understand why they would move it to there. Odd.
