Is there a way to hide the dock in iOS 11?
The capability is, of course, available in OS X.
Thanks.

The dock in its form on iOS 11 is new - it was invisible until now and so has become a bug. But thanks for the cheery corporatism.
Then you must have never used the old Dock in its original form, then.
I can't get this to work for the life of me, Normski! ugh
Is there a way to try that method with an iPhone X? There is no home button. I’m not sure if either of the volume buttons or the side button would work
I've got an iphone 5S the home button is the one at the bottom that you use for fingerprint ID, just done it on mine and it's easier than the ipad as it moves slower...
Ditto
Yes there is ! but it keeps coning back again, can't see how to get rid permanently
Yep, my issue exactly. Even scrolling through Google results can be annoying now, esp if you swipe with your thumbs like I do. I hope they fix this.
This doesn't do anything in IOS 11.2.x
Never used the Dock ever in any of the other versions of iOS?
It is what It is.
It is not going to go away.
YUP!!!
Has ALWAYS been part of iOS.
I don't understand these Dock complaints, then.
Wondering, here, if some aren't confusing dock with control center
my dock has moved to the middle of my ipad, help need it at the bottom. Thanks
Yup.
Me too, I find when I am using the keyboard I often tap the dock rather than the keyboard and have to retype, there must be a way surely?
