iOS 11 screen rotation lock not working

I downloaded the beta of iOS 11 and I'm assuming, since the public version is out, I'm on full version of iOS 11. Since I downloaded, I've had problems with my phone freezing and my screen rotation lock not working properly. I have the screen rotation lock on because I HATE the constant flipping back and forth my phone will do. It's way too sensitive if you don't have it on. iOS 11 has a problem with the screen rotation lock not actually working properly, or is this just me? It flips to sideways screen and stays that way until I lock my screen and unlock it. It will literally freeze on the sideways position, with the screen rotation lock on. HELP!

I’m having a similar but different problem - even with the screen orientation lock off, my phone is stuck in portrait. I usually prefer that but I can’t get it to switch to landscape at all now.

I have been having the same problem. iOS 11 iPhone 8 plus the home screen flips all the icons even if my phone is in upright position

My iphone 6plus Now turns itself landscape and locks with only half of lockscreen showing. Cant enter password or get it back to portrait.

Only fix is hard reboot.

Same here with me. Whatever I do to the portrait orientation option, I’m unable to rotate to the landscape mode at all. Not able to view pics in landscape mode. Plz help.

I'm having the same issue and so is my wife. She has a 7 and I have a 7+. Super annoying, hopefully this gets fixed soon.

I noticed this randomly happens with my 8 plus. I have to power the phone off to fix it. Don't know what is causing it though. Seems like a software problem.

Same here. Lock screen is in landscape mode when it should be portrait. I find it hard to believe this was not noticed in beta.
