IOS 11 upgrade and Renault R-Link

Dear anypats, please don't make defance for Apple... Everything was working with IOS 10.3.3 and Apple spoiled it with last update of the IOS. If someone damage something, he has to repair or find a solution. It is not my matter if any android has a problem... I had no problem and now I have a problem, because of Apple.... How can I scream more ?????

Apple should really review IOS 11 because it's everything but an enhancement. If I would be the only one experiencing problems I would say OK but unfortunately that's not the case. Based on my current experiences I wouldn't buy a new iPhone again, it is currently stopping me from doing my work. Phone calls are constantly dropped, customers try to call but no connection and when switching from wifi to Data there is no connection anymore.

Can we please go back to IOS 10 and please notify other customers not to upgrade to 11 because it is everything but an upgrade.

Most people running iOS 11 are having none of those issues.

In particular, using my iPhone as a phone has worked perfectly since release on first an iPhone 7 Plus and now an iPhone 8 Plus, and I have never had any issues moving from Wi-Fi to cellular data and back.

Perhaps your cellular service provider is having issues; regardless if these are all readily reproducible, I'd suggest taking your phone in to an Apple Store so they can run diagnostics to make sure you don't have hardware issues.

Stop this nonsense. I always liked iPhone but Apple just needs to agree that IOS 11 is not the best they ever released. If I was the only one one having issues I would say yes but apart from you I haven't heard anybody being enthusiatic about IOS 11. I work in a very large company and we upgrade our phones all the time but no one is happy.

Guys we have to stop this conversation and close the subject. I have received an official call from Renault France based on my complain about the Bluetooth connection with my ios11 device.

The problem is in RLink NOT in the iOS. You have to go to your Renault dealer and ask to upgrade your RLink System. I did it and now there is NO PROBLEM.

I have exactly the same problem. iPhone 6s. Worked perfectly before updating. I tried everything with re-pairing, resetting to factory settings, etc. Nothing worked.

Is not only in my renault, my Mercedes ClassA NTG4.5 radio is the same, I think is worst, I already upgrade for the IOS 11.01 and the problem stills remain, Iphone 7plus

This really isn't a helpful suggestion - it used to work, apple changed their software and it broke. Apple are the ones who need to fix this.

I have the same problem for my Hyundai i30, 2012 model. Apple need to fix this asap.

Strangely, this kind of problems doesn't occur with other os phones updates

The only solution I see is upgrade Iphone to Android Phones
