After upgrading my iPhone SE to IOS 11 the bluetooth connection with my Renault R-Link does not work anymore. Connection the phone manually sometimes helps. But it used to connect automatically.

Take it to your local Renault dealer and they can update the software to the latest version. Having taken my car yesterday I can confirm that bluetooth connections are now working with iOS11 backlink gov. Getting the software updated also solved the long-standing issue with UK speed cameras displaying the km/h value as mp/h. It only took two years!

IOS does not broke anything. Didi you try to connect your phone to other (than RLink2) Bluetooth devices? I have tried and there is no problem at with them, only with the RLink2 for which there is no new version since 2015!!!. Renault should FIX this ASAP!!!

Apple said it's a Hyundai error, Hyundai said it's apple fault...my phone won't work and i feel so frustrating....

Bluetooth is built upon published standards of operation.
If Renault or any other vendor didn't follow the specification properly, they can't be held responsible for that.
In the mean time, make sure you unpair your phone from the car and unpair the car from the phone (delete the BT settings on both the car and the phone), then try to re-pair the two.
Same to my car. Renault will create an update for RLink2 at end of november.
I am not happy, that Apple didn´t signed the download version of IOS 10.3.3. because I like to reinstall it.
I have several problems with IOS 11 especiall 11.0.2. and I fear the new version 11.0.3. will not fix them.
My iphone 5s is to old for IOS 11 but amazing with IOS 10.
For my own - please Apple make it possible to downgrade to IOS 10.3.3. or take mor care with new versions.
Actually I have to wait for december and hope one of many problems will solved by Renault, not by apple!
It´s the first time I wish, my first smart phone was an android!!!!
I did get contacted by Apple and helped them with making logfiles of the bluetooth connection. But they did not have a solution. I also called Renault in the Netherlands ant they told me I have a Rlink 1 and there was an update. ** the app on my pc could not download it. I had to go to the dealer for it. The dealer told me there was no update for my unit. So I decided to give the Rlink unit a factory reset. Dat did the trick and it worked for 2 days. In the process I lost all my TomTom destinations because it is not possible to back-up the unit. But after 2 day's I am back to the same problem. I am getting really angry now. Spend 600 Euro for a phone. And the result is that half of the day I can't use it. On this moment I drive around with a old Android to be able to use my handsfree unit. I have 20 years of IT experience behind me and i know that if you do an update and somethings breaks it is for 99% certain it was because of the update. So IOS10 was a very nice reliable OS. After the update to IOS11 something is broken with the bluetooth connections. Going back to IOS10 is not possible. Apple fix this, you no the only smartphone on the market anymore!
You call it nonsense, but the number of complaints at least here are minimal compared to what they were when some past versions of iOS were released.
Certainly your issues seem unique, and I still recommend you make an appointment to take your phone in to your local Apple Store for diagnosis.

A Renault R-Link is a entertainment system build in a Renault car. Not a app with an update in the app store. IOS 10 gave no problems, after the update no handsfree and no music anymore possible with the iPhone. Please fix this.
I’m experiemcing the same problem. After upgrading my iPhone7 from IOS 10.3.3 to 11 it doesn’t connect to my R-Link system in my Renault anymore. The system keeps trying to make a connecting with the iPhone but the connections keeps dropping. I’ve removed the connection and reset my network connections but the problem resides. Please provide an update to resolve. This is not acceptable.
You may think this is not Apple's fault. In any way my wife's android telephone works with R link and mine doesn't. If it goes on, Apple has to be sure I will not sell my car but I will buy an android telephone instead of iPhone X... That is all...

I just finished to update IOS to a last update available today v11.0.3.
I will be back to you to give you feedback if the problem is solved or not with an Apple fix.
As far as I remember V11.0.1 -> V11.0.2 ->V11.0.3 in really short period tell us something about fix stability.

I have the same problem with my R-LINK2. I don´t know who is the responsable for this important security problem!!! I need my handsfree everyday. I think Apple could do anymore for me it´s simple!!! with iOS 10.3.3 everything was ok, let me downgrade to 10.3.3 my iPhone 7. Renault always the same..... i have read at this post Renault has a new version for this problem but ..you have to go to the official garage and miss one or two day without car.

I have read some of the answers and feel the need for Apple to provide a patch . Everything was worked ne from RLink person écrive before the upgrade. I do not see the patch should come

1. I don't want IOS 11 anymore...My Iphone 6 doesnt work with my Kadjar.. APPLE Please hear me and give us a link. I want my IOS 10.3.3 back. Please Apple do it for us. Otherwise I will need to post this telephone to you.....
2. My wife has Renault too and she intended to buy an iphone 8. Under current issues she doesn't think to buy. Is there any iphone in the market, which uses IOS 10 ??
