My tv supports HDR and Dolby Vision but during the test it’s stating my TV doesn’t support it. Any help?

Have you tried using the 25 ft cable and skipping the AVR? Also is your cable an Active HDMI cable?

I have the same issue with an LG OLED65B6P. No Dolby Vision 4K 60p. Only 30Hz and 24Hz work when connected directly to TV from Apple TV 4K.

BestBuy told me Apple 4K TV HDR isn’t working and Apple is delaying shipments of new units and is considering a recall.

This is good to hear. I returned two to them that wasnt working right.

The x900e doesn’t support Dolby Vision, and I think that’s the format that the atv4k uses.

There should be a firmware update available. I had the same issue until I updated it.

The ATV, AVR and TV are all up to date. Which device were you talking about?

I don't suppose tvOS 11.2 will help.

You are my hero!!! I have the same TV and this issue has been driving me nuts. Still having a few issues with the Apple TV and X Box One X but this got me a heck of a lot closer. Cheers!!!

It also fixed my Xbox One X issue. I had an issue when I would turn on 4:2:2 chroma. Once I switched the cable, gone. Turned on 4:2:2 and forza 7 works perfectly in 4K and HDR10.

I thought it was the appletv. Turns out you have to enable "enhanced format" in the External Input settings on the Sony for the appletv to see that it is connected to an HDR compatible display.
