iPhone 8: crackling static noise during calls

Hi I am also facing the temporary screen freeze issue post upgrade to 11.0.2 and the static noise continues. I am contemplating my options now. My seller has refused to help and is asking me to contact Apple service.

Very sad!... not to say but my experience is very annoying.

All the sound related problems which I brought by paying a huge amount considering Apple as a brand.

Several chat sessions and phone calls with Apple support without any resolutions, responses etc.

I went Apple authorised service provider,

1st time, they gave me a replacement with some other issues after waiting for a week.

2nd time, they promised me to get replacement or repaired device however not received yet, again a week time.

Don’t know what happened??

Do I need to take certain actions now, may be a legal actions???

How come Apple releases such devices? Is there no QA process before launch it to market?? Several questions …

I’ve returned mine. Can’t live with a 3rd world call quality.

No, same issue with iOS 11.0.1. Of course you can go to Apple and ask for replacement. But if it's software issue, that wouldn't help.

There will be same issues if exchange. It is iPhone 8 glitch. Return it for full refund before the 14 days are up. Once after 14 days, there will be no more options but to live it crackling noise.

Adding that my phone is experiencing the same problem. Neither the handset or speaker work well on phone calls with static and distorted sound.

Bluetooth headsets, plugged in headphones work fine.

Or, since one person posted here that 11.1 fixed the problem for him, they could just wait for the update.
