Agreed. Ever since I purchased my iPhone 8, the alarm comes on blaring loud. I’ve adjusted the volume in the sound & haptics, but every morning the alarm comes back on extremely loud. Also, I can’t adjust volume on side, that only controls my ringer. Anything work for you?
Me too! I thought I was crazy. After installing update 11.0 I wasn’t waking up on time cause I slept through alarm!

Under “settings” “sounds and haptic” turn on “adjust with buttons” then you can control the volume with the volume buttons.
