Couldn't find 'All My File' on Finder's sidebar

I agree! I used All my Files every day and although Barneyhelped me to create a new search folder I still miss it.... I hope Apple brings it back

Absolutely! Thanks to Barney - that has solved a problem for me. "Recents" isn't wholly useful for what I need, but Barney's solution is.

I tried what you said but no matter what I did, my recent Office docs don't show. They don't show in the "Recents" either...only PDF and image files.

I agree, the "All My Files" folder (or feature) was great. Used it all the time. I hope it was an oversight not to include in High Sierra and it will be restored in a future update soon.

Agreed - if you are looking to replace the functionality of ALL MY FILES you are far better off using the new "RECENT" fixes in sidebar which you can also tweak with the gear icon
