Iphone 8 plus wireless charging problem

I would definitely return the charger. Neither of our iPhone X beep on our QI chargers once fully charged.

Is this the 'samsung convertible pad' (link) you refer to?

I ask only because I bought this to accompany my 8+ and have noticed that it periodically will stop charging and make the "disconnect" sound. Sometimes it happens after a few minutes, and other times it's much longer. I have to lift up the phone and replace it to continue charging.

i have exact the same problem with iPhone 8 plus and samsung fast charge wireless charging convertible,

while fully charged (usually in the middle of the night) iPhone shows constanly recharging indicator and beeps sound

very disturbing!

hope it will be fixed in the upcoming software updates

now i switched back to Apple lightning cable

Alright, related question:

I have the samsung fast-charging pad and also experience the exact same issues (intermittent disconnections etc.)

Even after 11.2 update, the fan that runs when in fast-charge mode on the pad - won’t engage.

Is fast charging not available with iOS update as well?

Works fine with samsung phone.

What happen is that the new iPhones do charge with ani qi compatible pad, it does not transmit information back to them. So they don't know it's state. When it finishes charging completely;

• The iPhone cuts the charging cycle (and it turns off the led indicator in the pad)
• The pad checks if there is something to charge
• It finds a device and send energy (turning on the lights)
• The iPhone cuts the charging cycle because it's already fully charged (turning the light back off)
• and so on......

Apple have affirmed they have partnerships with mophie and belkin in some chargers, so this particular ones do receive info from the iPhone. The same happens to the AW Series 3, witch do have qi but do not work with any charger.
