I don't think so, because the same problem occurred with my girlfriend's iPhone 5S and she never uses any Bluetooth device.

The only solution we have to figure out here in Hungary is to call our carrier and ask it to disable the "hide Caller ID" function. There are phones with three option for "send caller ID" function. Send, hide and "use carrier settings". If you select the "use carrier settings" option, the phone will use the the carrier's default settings. For example the Hungarian Telekom usually hides the ID, but the Telenor doesn't. But if the "hide caller ID" function is enabled on the carrier side, BUT you choose "send caller ID" on the iPhone settings, the iPhone's setup should override the carrier's settings. Due to the lack of "use carrier settings" option the iPhone should always override the carrier's setting in that way you choose, but it looks like this function is not working properly.

So the best you can do is call your carrier to disable the "hide caller ID" (or enable the "send caller ID" depending of the carrier) function on your number. It worth a try. (By the way you can try to use your carrier's app (if it exists) to set it up correctly)

Hey! So the best thing to do in the meantime is go to settings>cellular>cellular data options>Enable LTE: data only or OFF

The problem seems to be with LTE calling. This is a work around for the mean time until Apple comes up with a fix in a new version of OS. The downside is that you may possibly lose wifi calling and LTE calling but regular calls will work, and your clients will call you back.

The caller ID problem is real. I have the confirmation from APPLE saying that many people are going through this. It is an iOS 11 issue.

meantime, the best is to keep contacting apple to get your issues heard.

problem: after updating to iOS 11. Outgoing caller ID doesnt work. The recipient sees private number or unknown number. Toggling off and on the show my caller ID button resolves it temporarily.

I'm in the U.S. and I've got an iPhone SE running 11.2.1 and I have this problem too. Only for me it's *much* worse: the button next to "Show My Caller ID" is greyed out and I cannot change it. So, my number *never* shows on the other side. This prevents me from calling many people, including my doctors who won't take calls from private numbers.

I've talked with my carrier and they say they do nothing with this setting/switch and it has nothing to do with them. This is entirely Apple's problem and fault.

Whoever you talked to at your carrier is an idiot. Caller ID is ENTIRELY a carrier feature. SOME carriers support controlling it via the settings on the phone. Others do not. Contact your carrier again and escalate the call until you get someone who has an IQ higher than that of a potato.

Check in Settings to ensure that Caller ID is turned on. If it is and

still not working, then contact your carrier. They are the ones that push

through Caller ID. They control it.

Ive been having the same problem with my Iphone 6. Just updated to ios 11.0.2 yesterday and everyone I call is getting "Unknown Caller" Tried turning bluetooth off, so thats not the issue here, checked my settings and Show Caller Id is switched "On" tried also turning on and off, Still nothing. I am with Telus in Canada and I have poor cell reception in my new neighbourhood, so I use wifi calling when in my house. I tried turning on Airplane mode and made a call using only wifi calling and my caller ID now shows up. Great for when Im home but when Im on the road no luck. Get this fixed apple, My clients aren't answering my calls and they cant call me back if they don't know its me.
