apple tv 4k won’t wake from sleep

Of the 3 AppleTV's we own, the 4k AppleTV has this same issue. I too had a replacement sent to the store and have the issue yet again.

No I can't confirm this. My device don't wake up too if I put it to sleep manually.

Apple said I should take my Apple TV in for a full software reinstall at any Apple or Best Buy... going to try.

Correction* Had my 4K since January 2018

And btw, it just happened to my 4K again just today.

Have it sleep, it won't wake up, I almost poke a hole

on my ipad while trying to wake it up with remove app.

Had to unplug & plug it back in.

Still an issue. Updating to 11.3 doesnt help it. Ive continued to troubleshoot and it still will not sleep like my other Apple TVs. Definitely an issue with the 4K version of Apple TV.

Me too. it's carzy....I 've used 3rd and 4th gen ATV but they were fine. But how could the better advanced 5th gen ATV ***

what i've done is click into sleep----no wake up----rebooting only.

apple is really going the wrong way~ very stupidity itself. very painful. they are going backward not forward into better future.

In my case nothing helped. Not even the Power-LED is on. Pressing the Menu and TV button wakes up the device.

This is the second Apple TV with this fault.

*manual sleep mode dont wake it up

*auto sleep mode wake it up ok
