I got the iPhone 8 and with it iOS 11 (11.0.1) and I noticed that I do not have my Facebook events like birthdays etc. in my calendar like before.
On High Sierra I got it working again by going to settings and subscribing to facebook again, but the events don't carry over to my iPhones calendar.
Anyone have some tips on how to get it to sync with Facebook events?

Hi! The way it worked for me, I have exported on my PC for outlook, but before clicking OK, I've copied the calendar link and emailed to myself. I then opened the email on my phone, copied the link into subscribed calendar and that's it, sorted. I hope will work for others too. Cheers,
To remove the pre-iOS11 Facebook calendar you need to go to System Preferences->Facebook and then deselect the Calendar. Viola!

I had the same question.
Click on “Upcoming Events” and/or “Birthdays,” and a pop-up will ask if you want to subscribe to that calendar.
