High Sierra won't send iMessages

Since I have High Sierra installed, I cann't send iMessage. It shows "Not delivered", but incoming messages works properly. I did try to turn on and off iMessages, restart, activate two factor authentication, but it still doesn't work.

Mac mini, macOS High Sierra (10.13)

Good troubleshooting guide for this issue here. I did nearly all of the things suggested, and even sent logs in to Apple Support for further investigation.

Ultimately, what worked for me was to run this command from Terminal:

sudo rm /Library/Preferences/com.apple.apsd.plist

I have same problem. After installing High Sierra, iMessage is not sending messages properly like everybody else in this thread. Did NVRM reset, Safe boot, log-in and out numerous times. Nothing works.

Worse still, FaceTime also showing some problem. Once I run Face Time, it's logged-in but call is not connected. To the recipient it shows "Connecting" but not connected. After another call, Face Time shows that it's logged out and ask me to log-in again. Once logged-in again, I can make Face Time calls. This means I need to try three times to have proper Face Time calls.

Anyone having same problem with me?

FYI, I'm using MBP 13" Early 2015 and running High Sierra.

I was in contact with Apple Support at the moment. I am speaking to 2nd level since 1st level did not a clue.

After collecting a lot of data on my computer the Danish supporter (after also talking to the Swedish support) promised me to contact in the following week. I have heard nothing at all.

I still have the issue. Same as sos4help.

Dear all,

I have the same problem. I have been in contact with Apple service Germany (2nd level). They have been extremely helpful and willing to solve the problem. However, even after one hour of phone call and many attempts, the problem has not been solved.

After the upgrade to High Sierra, the Messages app does not deliver my messages anymore. I can still receive them.

I can send normal SMS through the hands-off feature, but not iCloud. I have also tried in safe mode and to create a new mock user account. Nothing has so far helped.

If anybody has experienced a similar problem and she/he knows a solution/fix, I would be very grateful to her/him to hear about that.

I also use Apple Key Chain and I have not tried to disable it yet.

Exactly the same. Was in contact first with the Swedish support and then the Danish support. I also spend almost an hour I think. He promised to look further into this an contact me again. I even got hos personal apple email address, but since then no-one contacted me and he does not answer any of my email at all!!

I have tried almost everything thing. Still have the problem.

Hi IBG,

In another thread (I referred to in this thread), the following worked for me:

1) Close the Messages App

2) Open Key Chain Access

3) Select your main keychain (usually the user name) at the top left side

4) Select "All Items" on the lower left side

5) Search for entries of "IDS"

6) Highlight and delete all entries that has IDS.

7) Search for entries of "FaceTime"

8) Highlight and delete all entries of FaceTime

9) Search for entries of "Messages"

10) Highlight and delete all entries of Messages

11) Reboot

Optional 12) Test it out. If it doesn't work, zap the PRAM a couple of times, then try again.

It was scary because it mentions something about not being able to open previously received chats, but I found the was not the case. I did it and it cleared up the problem for me. I had A LOT of old Message Encryption and Signing keys. Probably some old ones were incompatible or one of them was corrupted. Hope this helps.
