SD card reader not working on high sierra

After the update, my mac will see that there is an sd card in the slot, but wont let me access it or eject it. Did not have this issue before the update.

What if i have a whole bunch or Data on my SD card and lots of others? do i need to save the Data on another computer and then re-format, and then load everything back onto the SD cards?

I guess what i was trying to ask was, will it erase my 2k pictures on the SD to re-format to Fat32?

I did.....Disk Utility does not recognize my SD no matter what I do. I just thought of it that, I could re-format on my iMac.

I have exactly the same issue, but on a Macbook Pro. I've submitted several bug reports about this - I suggest going to their feedback page so they address this issue...

My issue was on a MacBook Pro....I wish they would fix this bug.

What if mine says "This computer doesn't contain any Apple Internal Memory Card Readers."? It worked before the update...

Mac_slide, How could the upgrade to High Sierra be damaging all these SD card readers?
