SD card reader not working on high sierra

Ever since updating to 10.13 my SD Card reader is no longer mounting cards? any ideas how to fix this

I have the same issue on my Mac mini 2010 too. It was working on Sierra. Seems Apples QA didn’t do a proper job...

Have you solved your issue?

I had to downgraded my Mac Mini mid 2010 down to Mac OS Sierra in order to have the Card reader work again.

Those mini support has been dropped at Apple, obviously. I downgraded down to Mac OS Sierra and feel fine with it.

Better to start a new question. That's not the topic of this discussion. Sounds like you may have a defective card.

I had the same problem with a Sabrent Card Reader plugged into my iMac. A PRAM reset got it back.
