Anyone else is having problem with time machine on high sierra. I am backing up on a new disk but it stops moving after 20.18 GB. It has been stuck there for 5 hours. Right now it says 20.20 GB. Repeated it 3 times but getting same results.
MacBook Pro, macOS High Sierra (10.13)
mbp 2016 high sierra
time capsule 3tb (airport still awesome after all these years)
time machine backups fail --last successful backup 11/14
using superduper for clone now
high sierra bug??? looking for a fix
I'd give it a go: you don't want to forego anti-virus protection altogether! If my case is similar, turning it off temporarily is sufficient.
