Time is not displayed on lock screen
iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 11, null
Hi there, burugupalli!
From your post, I see that you have been using iOS 11 and have noticed that since updating, the time no longer appears on your Lock screen. I’d be more than happy to help!
The first recommendation I have is to restart your iPhone, if you have not already. You can follow instructions here to do that: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.
If the time still does not show after restarting, make sure your iOS is up to date; iOS 11.0.1 has been released, and may help: Update the iOS on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.
Should the time still not be visible, please reinstall iOS 11 using the steps under “Put your device in recovery mode and set it up again” here: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. Even though the title of the article doesn’t exactly match your issue, the steps to reinstall are the same. Reinstalling iOS 11 won’t remove any content from your iPhone, but I would still recommend backing up before beginning: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support.
If you continue to have trouble with your time displaying on the Lock screen, don’t hesitate to respond back.
Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities! Have a great day.

It's a temporary solution. I've seen this happen since the first public beta on the iPhone 6S.
What I've found it's related to either a notification that triggers the lockscreen to crash, I've also seen it happen when switching between the lock screen and camera or the notification center (scrolling left/right).
The hard reset always fixes it though, until it crashes again. Sometimes works for days on end without crashing, sometimes crashes multiple times a day.
I’ve been having this same problem, I tried everything but I think I have a solution... try changing your background picture, since I’ve done that the clock never disappeared.
Had the same problem for some time. I figured out that if you change the fonts to bold and than back to normal the problem disappears. Hope this will be resolved in the next update.
The workaround for this issue (atleast I’m doing this for over a week) is to clear all old notifications each day. It looks like the screen crashes when too many notifications are being held in memory.
Okay people I may be jinxing this but I think I have the cure! I have had my 7plus replaced TWICE and the Apple Genius gave me a suggestion that has lasted SIX DAYS now. This is the longest ever. If I again start having this problem I will have to blame an app. Maybe we all have the same one?
Back up your phone and then THROUGH YOUR ITUNES, reset your phone. Whipe it clean and then RESET IT AS NEW.
I hope this helps for everyone.
I updated to 11.2.5 beta 7 and the issue seems to be fixed. So far so good going on the 2nd day
Some one said try changing your back ground, but for me personally i had to restore my phone twice, the first time i restored it from a back up the problem followed me, but the second time i restored it with no back up it seems to be working fine for now. I am really upset i had to go through all of that.
I had same issue , time was not displaying on lock screen and even notification was not coming.
I found the work around which working fine for me so far, see if it helps you as well

May-seam silly but
Reset network setting
Change wallpaper
Power off & Back On
Leave new wallpaper after or change back to previous. Works every time.
I am having the same issues on my iPhone X that is updated to iOS 11.1.2
It happens at least once a day and will only be fixed when I restart.
Mine does not work and I am fully updated. I have to restart for it to come back. We need a permanent fix here.
Yes, I am also having the same issue but by clearing notification every time it works.
if you haven't tried workaround give it a shot, annoying but working for me.Below is a link.

Same issue as everyone
Changing the zoom-in/zoom-out mode as well rebooting the iphone solves the issue ONLY temporarily, and this is the only suggestion from Apple.
Please, urgent update needed!
Same issue on my iPhone 7 running 11.2.5. Found that if I plug in the charger and turn phone off/on it fixes the issue at least temporarily.
