After upgrading to IOS 11, my phone no longer shows time on lock screen. Need to unlock the phone to check the time.

From your post, I see that you have been using iOS 11 and have noticed that since updating, the time no longer appears on your Lock screen. I’d be more than happy to help!
The first recommendation I have is to restart your iPhone, if you have not already. You can follow instructions here to do that: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.
If the time still does not show after restarting, make sure your iOS is up to date; iOS 11.0.1 has been released, and may help: Update the iOS on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.
Should the time still not be visible, please reinstall iOS 11 using the steps under “Put your device in recovery mode and set it up again” here: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. Even though the title of the article doesn’t exactly match your issue, the steps to reinstall are the same. Reinstalling iOS 11 won’t remove any content from your iPhone, but I would still recommend backing up before beginning: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support.

Just updated to 11.2 and the problem si still there... FIX IT APPLE!!!
Restarting the phone only temporarily fixes the problem. Apple really needs to address this. I just paid $1200 for a phone that does even do basic time display properly!
Same thing happens to me and it’s very frustrating! I up to date with iOS 11.2.1. Any help from Apple would be appreacited.
Mine does not work and I am fully updated. I have to restart for it to come back. We need a permanent fix here.
I’ve found this causes the phone to restart, hence the same thing as just restarting the phone I guess

Changing the zoom-in/zoom-out mode as well rebooting the iphone solves the issue ONLY temporarily, and this is the only suggestion from Apple.
Please, urgent update needed!

Same issue here. Getting sick of this ****. Screen bugs multiple times a day.
I’ve had this issue plague me since my 7plus and now I have ipx. Had it replaced once and it’s still doing the same thing. Don’t understand how a 1,000 device can be so unstable.
Nevermind. It JUST crashed. Jeez.
I updated to 11.2.5 beta 7 and the issue seems to be fixed. So far so good going on the 2nd day
