My iPhone 6 since upgrading can’t find GPS

I have an iPhone 6 and ever since upgrading to iOS 11, I can no longer use any mapping apps (Google Maps, Waze, or Apple Maps) as it says ‘No GPS trying moving outdoors’. It’s frustrating because I use the feature daily and now I can’t get it to function. I have numerous times reset both the Network Settings and the Location and Privacy Settings to no avail.

If you check now, update 11.0.2 is available and since I updated to that, I have been able to use my GPS. This is after waiting 1 week for a Genius Bar appointment in my city and finding out that that update was released the night before my appointment. I’m just thankful it works. I use Waze daily!

Just to note, my problem with having no GPS did not come when I upgraded to IOS 11. My phone got wet and bricked. So I received an exact replacement through insurance. Once I had set up the new phone, prior to IOS 11, it never got GPS. Every so often, when I use Waze it'll will click into GPS and then the voice will start giving me directions because the app actually can tell where I am. So it feels more like the problem is that the phone unclicks itself from the system (turns off that feature) without the use knowing and every so often clicks it back on. It does not happen often, but if I'm driving long enough it'll click in. I totally understand the frustration. I haven't taken it to an Apple store because I really don't think they can do anything, except to upgrade me to a new phone. And I don't want to pay for that.
