After much exasperation, mine's working again. Here's what happened:
1. I replaced all apps. That didn't work.
2. I replaced the phone and restored it. Still no luck. The new, cloned phone, still did not locate my current location. As it turns out, I probably did not need to replace the phone. It was under warranty, but cost $112.
3. I restored it back to zero. It worked.
4. I restored all the data. It's still working.
Hi all - I reported this problem as well, and after some deep searching, came across this solution. While I didn't do this myself (I took it into a service repair shop - not Apple, but it was out of warranty anyway) and after replacement of the antennae the GPS issue is very much fixed (along with the Bluetooth issues I was also experiencing).
I finally went to a repair shop (not Apple) and had the flex cable and antenna replaced and my gps and spotty WiFi is working great again.
I've had a heck of a time. Location manager just doesn't work anymore. I erased everything on the phone and it works fine. So I restored it and it's broken again. I'd rather have my text messages and other data than GPS, I guess. It's frustrating. My plan is to delete many apps and see if the conflicting thing goes away...
I have been having same problems. Done everything mentioned here to no avail. Also totally reset phone to factory settings. Went to Verizon store and they just said hardware can’t keep up with software upgrades and new phone is only answer. Iphone 6 is 3 years old. Had Iphones for a lot of years but going over to androids this time, i have had it.

I’m having the same problem, I strongly believe it’s SW related issues due to fact that I was using my phone for traveling on road with my car on the day, I was showing my phone’s location exactly and was working fine until it started happens when I updated my phone to iOS11.2.1
I also have this same issue since the update in late September or early October 2017. It was working completely fine before the IOS (ver.11) update then. It has been more than 4 months now and 2-3 new IOS update and the problem is still not fixed. Apple, are you guys not trying to fix this? Your costumer support said its a known issue.
GPS can not find my location constantly, when using a map app like google or yahoo map 98% of the time it doesn't update. Any app that requires GPS also can not function correctly. When I am home it thinks I am in the river 50 feet away. Again let me remind you it was working fine before I did the late September update.
I finally gave up and ordered a replacement through my carrier's insurance. Still cost me $149 deductable, but better than the $300 Apple wanted to fix it or the $600 or more a new model would cost.
This is an issue related to the IOS verison, please take a look on the comments, it was triggered after upgrade to IOS 11, before that GPS was working perfectly, I don't know why you cannot understand that
Dozens of threads with hundreds of people having this same issue. Mine has been unworkable for over a month. Reset everything and restored the phone. Been on the phone with Apple techs three times. All they can tell me to do is restore the phone again or buy a new one. Clearly its a widespread issue.
I have the same issue ever since I upgraded to iOS 11 and update after update. Doesn't get resolved. The guys at the Apple store did an update to their satisfaction which didn't help. I can't go back to iOS 10.3 as Apple is no more allowing customers to install. The guys at the geiuns bar suggested to buy a new phone. Genius!
My iPhone 6 is still having the problem with no GPS since installing all upgrades. I have tried deleting and reinstalling my google maps and Waze. I have followed directions for adjusting privacy settings. I live in a new town and rely on these maps! What else can I try (besides mapquest)?
I'm still having this issue and am on the latest update 11.2.6. I've tried all trouble-shooting suggestions - twice. I've even tried doing each with Wifi on and off. Have reset my phone to factory settings twice. Even tried to downgrade to 10.3.3 but of course Apple doesn't sign that firmware anymore - which is rubbish really because it's my phone and if I want to go back to an older operating system (because of bugs in the new one) I should be able to! I live in a pretty tricky country navigation wise (anyone ever experienced the Qatar road 'system'?!) and without my GPS I'm literally lost. Apple - when is this issue going to be fixed, please!?
You cannot go back iOS 10.3 as the signing servers would deny installing older version of IOS.
Apple store can’t fix it if your phone is out of warranty. You would have to shell out $400+ and get your device replaced.
